Daniel's History With Music:

While his main YouTube content isn't inherently music related, Daniel has always had a growing passion for music. All of which goes under the pen name Daniel 'Allen'.

His music ventures include a publicly known music collection, a collection of tracks made by himself that can be viewed on YouTube and streaming, mashups posted on YouTube and SoundCloud, and even the soundtrack to his own game.

The following are highlights from his experiences with music:

Left Out, Pt. 1

Released September 29th, 2017

-------------------------------------------

In 2017, a precocious 15-year-old Daniel T. Gaming, already a burgeoning presence on the YouTube stage, embarked on a surprising sonic tangent with Left Out, Pt. 1. This debut EP, a collection of introspective electronica, served as an emotional outlet for the young creator, offering a glimpse into a more contemplative side.

-------------------------------------------

Finding himself adrift in an unfamiliar and unwelcoming living environment, Daniel sought solace and creative expression in the realm of digital music production. His bedroom transformed into a makeshift studio, a sanctuary where he could experiment and channel his emotions into sound. The resulting recordings, while bearing the hallmarks of a novice producer, nonetheless pulse with an undeniable artistic curiosity and a nascent ambition that resonated with his growing online audience.

-------------------------------------------

Lacking the means to acquire industry-standard software like FL Studio or Ableton, and unaware of the then-nascent REAPER, Daniel resourcefully turned to the open-source platform LMMS. With a remarkable ingenuity, he harnessed the potential of its built-in plugins, crafting the entirety of Left Out, Pt. 1 and its subsequent follow-up with this surprisingly versatile tool. This resourceful approach, born of necessity, speaks to a DIY ethos that would continue to inform his artistic journey.

Left Out, Pt. 2

Released November 3rd, 2017

-------------------------------------------

Alas, the release of Left Out, Pt. 1— initially shared with the world via YouTube and later finding its way to SoundCloud—did little to quell the turbulence in Daniel's personal life. Still wrestling with emotional turmoil, and deeply affected by the near-suicide of someone in his close circle, he once again sought refuge in the cathartic act of music-making, transmuting his anxieties into sonic form.

-------------------------------------------

A mere 35 days after Pt. 1 made its online debut, Left Out, Pt. 2 arrived as a continuation of this nonverbal audio exploration of mental and emotional struggles. While maintaining the sonic palette of its predecessor, Pt. 2 demonstrates a growing command of dynamics and a more refined sense of sonic impact. The opening track is prefaced by a heartfelt message from Daniel himself, urging listeners to reach out to friends and loved ones who may be battling depression or suicidal thoughts.

-------------------------------------------

Imbued with a heightened emotional intensity, Pt. 2 showcases Daniel's musical maturity and a deeper understanding of music theory. The EP concludes with a poignant pair of tracks, "Where did it go wrong?" and "So this is goodbye?", leaving the listener to contemplate the complexities of emotional struggle and the search for resolution.

Left Out, Pt. 3

Released February 22nd, 2022

-------------------------------------------

Early 2021 marked the fifth anniversary of Daniel's video production endeavors. To comemmorate with this, Left Out, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 was released onto streaming platforms worldwide via DistroKid. As an off-hand comment, he even teased the possibility of a future Pt. 3 during the celebratory announcement.

-------------------------------------------

Fast forward to 2022, the year Left Out, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 reached their own quinquennial milestone. Daniel, ever eager to expand his sonic horizons, found himself captivated by a new digital audio workstation: REAPER. He was immediately enthralled by its expansive feature set, granular control, and unparalleled flexibility. Over the course of a month, he immersed himself in this new sonic playground, conjuring 10 distinct tracks, each a testament to his evolving artistry and his exploration of diverse samples, sounds, and plugins. These sonic experiments would coalesce into the long-awaited Left Out, Pt. 3.

-------------------------------------------

Departing from the melancholic introspection of its predecessors, Pt. 3 embraces a more vibrant and upbeat sonic palette, its effervescent melodies and infectious rhythms imbued with an undeniable pop sensibility. Yet, beneath this newfound exuberance, hints of deeper emotional currents linger, suggesting a multifaceted artistic vision that continues to evolve.

beach walk - Single

Released December 18th, 2020

-------------------------------------------

While 2020 undeniably presented a multitude of global challenges, rendering it a particularly arduous year for the vast majority of Earth's inhabitants, Daniel was by no means exempt from these difficulties.

-------------------------------------------

In the latter half of 2020, the prominent British internet commentator Pyrocynical became embroiled in a series of serious allegations. Though these accusations did not directly implicate his protégé, Daniel, the controversy inevitably cast a shadow over the younger YouTuber's burgeoning career.

-------------------------------------------
On December 18th, coinciding with Pyrocynical's release of his own explanatory video, "my response," Daniel offered a poignant rejoinder in the form of a musical reinterpretation.  His chosen vehicle was a somber, orchestral rendition of "Beach Walk" by Whitewoods, the erstwhile upbeat, 80s-inspired theme music of his YouTube channel, now transmuted into a sprawling, elegiac meditation on loss and uncertainty.
